Description
Join a Park Ranger on a 5 to 10-mile hike through the Glendening Nature Preserve & Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary trail systems. This intermediate level hike will offer impressive views of freshwater marshes, pine barrens, and riparian forests along the tidal Patuxent River. After a 5-mile circuit hike through the Glendening Nature Preserve, participants will have the option of continuing on an additional 5-mile hike through Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. Bring a bag lunch and snacks. Participants should meet at the Glendening Nature Preserve’s Wrighton Road Parking Lot. Ages 12+. A $5.00 registration fee covers program costs.
