Discover the art of making multiple originals in Printmaking Explorers, a hands‑on week where students learn accessible printing techniques and create original artwork to take home. Camp projects may include linocut prints (carving simple designs into linoleum and printing them by hand), monotype experiments (painting a one‑of‑a‑kind image on a plate and transferring it to paper), relief block prints (using styrofoam or cardboard to make repeated patterns), and collagraphs (building textured printing plates from found materials). Campers learn basic design, inking, registration, and color layering, explore safe tool use, and finish the week with a small printed portfolio and framed favorite piece. (includes monitored lunch break; Students bring a lunch)
