Primary Ballet III expands on the skills learned in Primary Ballet I/II and students are placed in this class by assessment. Basic ballet technique, ballet terminology and definitions are expanded upon and dancers begin building more complex combinations at the barre, in center and across the floor. Ballet III moves to a twice a week schedule in order to build strength in the young dancer preventing injury. This class is an excellent compliment to Jazz/Tap which will help create a well rounded dancer. ALL BALLET CLASSES (beginning with Primary Ballet I/II) ARE ASSIGNED BY ASSESSMENT Students assessed last year do not need to be reassessed. Assessments can be set by contacting the School for the Arts office and are mandatory before registration. MANDATORY PARENT MEETING - A loom video link will be sent out with vital information on the SHSA dance program. It is mandatory that parents watch this to understand important information.
