About This Activity
Junior Ballet I/II prepares students for a full ballet class. Students will continue to expand on the technique, terminology and definitions learned in the Primary Ballet levels, but are now expected to adhere to all the discipline they have been learning. Combinations will continue to become longer and more complex at the barre, in center and across the floor. In addition, these students will spend one class time with the older ballet students learning challenging technique modified for their level of dance. This level prepares students for Pre-Pointe work. Tuition: $1600 Mondays 5:30-6:30 (Modern); 6:30-8:00(ballet tech); Wednesdays 4:30-5:45 PM (ballet tech); 5:45-6:15 prepointe ALL BALLET CLASSES (beginning with Primary Ballet I/II) ARE ASSIGNED BY ASSESSMENT Students assessed last year do not need to be reassessed. Assessments can be set by contacting the School for the Arts office and are mandatory before registration. MANDATORY PARENT MEETING - A loom video link will be sent out with vital information on the SHSA dance program. It is mandatory that parents watch this to understand important information.
