About This Activity
Primary Ballet I introduces basic ballet technique, ballet terminology and definitions to the student. It is a two year syllabus so students can progress at their own pace. Dancers begin building combinations at the barre, in center and across the floor. This class is an excellent compliment to Jazz/Tap which will help create a well rounded dancer. ALL BALLET CLASSES (beginning with Primary Ballet III) ARE ASSIGNED BY ASSESSMENT Students assessed last year do not need to be reassessed. Assessments can be set by contacting the School for the Arts office and are mandatory before registration. MANDATORY PARENT MEETING - A loom video link will be sent out with vital information on the SHSA dance program. It is mandatory that parents watch this to understand important information.
