YEAR TWO REQUIREMENTS $1350.00 ($850 for SHA) prerequisite Year One UPAC (participation fee for SHA musical waived) Dance (Choose one) - Group class Intro to Tap (Wednesday 5:30-6:30) OR Modern (Mondays 4:30-5:30) Vocal Musical Theatre Vocal Solos (PRIVATE one hour lessons with SHSA Voice Teacher - arrange through SHSA office–502-897-1816) Acting Group class -Acting the song & contemporary and classical scene work, with continued voice and speech work and an exploration of physical acting (Tuesdays 4:30-5:30) Arts Business/Entrepreneurial Mindset (Mondays 4:30-5:30) (Group Class) Year 2 UPAC students will be trained in an entrepreneurial mindset. The world these students will enter after graduation necessitates that they be able to look for opportunities, reframe failure and learn the art of networking and collaboration. In a discussion rich class, students will: Begin to define their personal plan with a mission, vision and core value exploration Build habits that will give them a compound effect. Financial literacy basics as a working artist Have opportunities to learn the basics of networking with community professionals Explore how to harvest problems with the potential to design a micro-business associated with our performing arts at the UAC 4 hours per week (note that if each of these classes were taken a la carte, the cost would be $2500)
