About This Activity
Jazz/Tap I expands on the tap skills learned in Ballet/Tap, continuing to develop a keen sense of rhythm, timing, and musical awareness. Students are introduced to jazz dance which introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun, funky and expressive way of dancing. This class is designed for students in first grade and is an excellent complement to Beginning Ballet I which will help to create a well rounded dancer.
