About This Activity
Get ready to build in this hands-on camp! You’ll learn the basics of woodworking, from using tools safely to measuring, cutting, and assembling your own project. Perfect for beginners, this camp will introduce novice woodworkers to a moxon vise, try square, tape measure, router plane and a ryoba, a Japanese pull saw, which is much easier to use than traditional handsaws. Campers who complete this camp will be ready to tackle more projects in the Intro to Woodworking II Camp later this summer.
