This nurturing, playful camp weaves together movement, creativity, nature, and mindfulness to support children’s emotional well-being, confidence, and self-awareness. The children will explore: •Yoga games & mindful movement that build strength, flexibility, coordination, and focus •Creative expression, including mandala-making and nature-inspired art •Nature connection, with outdoor elements thoughtfully integrated throughout the experience •Sankalpa (intention) planting, where children literally plant flowers as a symbol of their intentions, growth, and inner wisdom •Tortoise Yoga (with real rescue tortoise’s), a calming practice that encourages slowing down, grounding, and compassion for all •Sound therapy & guided relaxation, using singing bowls and gentle instruments to support deep rest and nervous system regulation At the heart of this camp is the intention to teach yoga and mindfulness as a way of life, not just a class where we move our bodies. Children are guided to explore how mindfulness shows up in how we care for ourselves, how we treat one another, and how we relate to the natural world. This is a space where kids can move, create, rest, and grow: mind, body, and heart. This camp is designed for children ages around 6–9. Disclaimer: Children should be comfortable participating in group activities, following simple instructions, and engaging in short periods of guided movement, creativity, and relaxation. The camp also encourages mindful interaction with nature, including respect and care for plants, animals, and the environment, helping ensure a positive and supportive experience for everyone.
