Description
Children will learn and practice the basics of ballet, jazz and tap throughout the course of this class. This class encourages the development of physical skills and channeling energy in a healthy way that nurtures creativity.Parents are invited to sit in the dance studio on the first and last day of class, but the rest of the session are asked to wait outside of the dance studio. Our instructors have found allowing children to dance with their peers leads to more confident movement and less distraction.
This is an 8 week class that starts on May 7th, 2024.
Dear Future dancers and parents/ guardians, I can’t wait to meet new dancers and see returning students. As we prepare for our upcoming dance class, I wanted to share some important details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. To maintain a tidy appearance and keep focus on the activity, it is requested that hair is either pulled back or up away from the face. For attire, active wear is highly recommended for comfort and ease of movement. While ballet shoes, tap shoes, and leotards and tights are not mandatory, they can be conveniently purchased from Target, Dancer's Closet located inside the Dance Gallery at 6510 68th street and Academy Sports Additionally, staying hydrated is crucial, so please bring a water bottle with you.
