Calling all future engineers! Join us for a two-week hands-on engineering summer camp for 6th–8th graders, hosted by Liberty University with curriculum developed by Genesis K-12 Academy. Your student will spend eight action-packed days designing, building, coding, and competing alongside peers who love to create. Here’s what they’ll experience: • Faith-based, entrepreneurial engineering taught through Dr. Mark Horstemeyer’s Creationeering™ framework — a Biblical worldview approach that honors God’s design as the ultimate engineering masterpiece • Real coding and electronics skills through progressive Arduino projects, from basic circuits to sensor integration • Hands-on physics and engineering via our signature mousetrap car competition, where students prototype, test, optimize, and race their own designs By the end of camp, your student will have walked through the complete engineering product lifecycle: from concept and design to assembly, performance testing, and sustainability. They’ll leave with real technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, a finished competition car, and the confidence that comes from building something with their own hands. More than anything, they’ll see engineering as a calling to steward creativity and reflect the Ultimate Creator, God. Experience required: None at all! This camp meets students right where they are and helps them discover that they're wonderfully equipped to build, create, and solve real engineering challenges, just as their Creator designed them to. Dates & Times (Monday–Thursday, both weeks) • Week 1: June 8–11, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM • Week 2: June 15–18, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Spots are limited — reserve your student’s seat today!
