About This Activity
This block of instruction is a natural extension of the General Firearms Safety class. Some individuals are unable or uncomfortable with the idea of carrying a firearm on their person. Self Defense in the Home is for anyone considering a firearm for personal protection in their home. We discuss some ethical considerations of using a firearm in self-defense, firearm safety in the home, firearm selection, mental preparation, and more. There is no live-fire portion in this class. The General Firearms Safety course is a prerequisite. All classes are two-hour blocks of instruction. All classes are $15. Class fee is to be paid at the point of sale when checking in for the class.
