About This Activity
Madison will participate in the Jefferson District Youth Football (JDYFL) League. The target age group is 10-11 years old. Participants cannot turn 12 before 8/1/2025. There is a maximum of 30 participants. Tryouts will be held if there are more than 30 who register. Practices will be three days a week for the first two weeks of the season, moving to two days a week. Practice days will be Tuesday-Thursday for the first two weeks. Games will be played primarily on Saturdays with the possibility of one or two Sunday games in Madison or the Charlottesville area. Participants MUST have a current VHSL physical on file dated after May 1, 2025. Please purchase a girdle with knee pads, mouthguard, cleats, and gloves. Participants will also need to bring a water bottle to each practice and game. There is a maximum 30 participants.
