About This Activity
Madison will participate in the Jefferson District Youth Football (JDYFL) League. The target age group is 12-14 years old. Participants cannot be in 9th grade. Participants who turn 14 after June 1st ARE eligible to play, but please call to register if that is the case. There are a maximum of 35 participants. If more than 35 register, there will be a tryout. Practices will be Tuesday-Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Games will be played primarily on Saturdays with the possibility of one or two Sunday games in Madison or the Charlottesville area. Participants MUST have a current VHSL physical on file dated after May 1, 2025. Please purchase a girdle with knee pads, mouthguard, cleats, and gloves. Participants will also need to bring a water bottle to each practice and game.
