Description
Join us for our 5th & 6th grade tackle football league! This league is for those who will be in 5th or 6th grade for the 2024-25 school year.
Local teams will participate as part of the Central Oregon Recreational League which includes Crook County, La Pine, Madras, and Sisters.
Mandatory Dates:
- Parent Information Meeting is May 9th, 6:30p at the Madras Aquatic Center.
- Registration deadline is July 5th, there will be no late registrations accepted.
- Gear fitting is at the Madras Aquatic Center, times will be determined closer to the registration deadline. This is mandatory, if the player is not fitted for gear, they will not be able to participate.
- Gear will be issued prior to the first day of practice. Please check your emails periodically so you don't miss the gear pick up date.
- Practice dates and times are dependent on coach availability, practice will be capped at 4.5 hours a week. Please check your emails so you don't miss the date and times when they are announced.
- There will be a player and parent/ guardian meeting the first day of practice.
Games will be on Saturdays in September and October. *Game locations and times subject to change based on stadium and referee availability.
Travel is required within Central Oregon for games. Teams are based on registration numbers.
Please ensure that there is an up-to-date email address and phone number (texts) on your Active profile. That is how the MACRD, and the coach will be in contact with you. If you think your profile is not up to date, please contact the MAC front desk to update.
Players will be issued a uniform, helmet, shoulder pads, and mouthpiece. If issued items are not returned to the MACRD after the season, players will be responsible for replacement costs.
Activity Refunds:
Refunds will be assessed a 6% processing fee to cover ActiveNet charges. If the refund is credited to a patron’s account the processing fee will be waived.
A 100% refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity at least 10 business days prior to the date registration closes.
A 50% refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity at least 5 business days prior to the date registration closes.
No refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity after registration closes.
Activity fees will not be refunded or pro-rated for patrons who miss a portion of an activity or program.
