About This Activity
Want to create your very own action figure? In this workshop, you’ll design a custom character using Autodesk TinkerCAD and bring it to life with 3D printing! Learn how to turn your ideas into a real, printed figure and discover the tech behind it. Whether you’re into superheroes, sculpting, or your own original creation, this is your chance to make it real and take it home! This project is open to students 10-15 years old, with a parent or chaperone (18+) required. The cost is $40 per student, but thanks to BAE Systems' partnership with the Design Challenge, participants will receive a 50% discount this year. In addition to the hands-on experience, students will also learn about the Fab Lab Design Challenge. Registration is now open on Active, with space available for up to 10 students.
