About This Activity
Description
The REC Program is a self-funded program open to children 5 ½ to 12 or children in grades 1-5. The REC Program offers homework help, snacks, art and crafts, music, dance parties, movies, fitness fun, gardening, cooking, sports, tournaments, themed activities, and more. Ratio is 1 leader to 12 children. All-day REC on non-school days, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Children will participate in self-directed and structured recreational activities designed to positively impact on social connections, human development, and lifelong learning. All activities are supervised by trained CPR-certified recreation leaders. If you sign up for September, August 19th-31st is free of charge! There will be no walking in the first week of school (Parents must drop off). Rec will be closed on: Labor Day (9/7), Thanksgiving and the Day after Thanksgiving (11/26 & 11/27), Christmas Eve (12/24), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Day (1/1), and Memorial Day (5/31).
