About This Activity
Already an experienced player? . Students will hone their combinational play, learn how to coordinate and plan offensive chess, and visit the classic "Immortal Games" of Bobby Fischer for attacking inspiration. Instructors will provide lessons and thematic exercises using demonstration chess boards and virtual PGN readers to help players pinpoint key moves, themes and ideas. Afterwards, players will be invited to participate in a variety of fun practice chess activities, from team play challenges to speed chess matches. Instructional videos and interactive media will also help keep the fun going, and at the end of class, players are always left with plenty of time for free practice play with their friends.
