Rising Grades 1 - 6 Into the Woods – A BASIS Manhattan Theatre Production with Ms. Boscolo and Ms. Arin. If you had one wish, what would it be? And would you be daring enough to embark on a journey Into the Woods to seize it? This summer, you’ll marvel the moment your mini thespian waltzes into a fairy tale and brave their fears, as our beloved drama teacher Ms. Boscolo and musical director Ms. Arin stage an adaptation of the critically acclaimed musical. Not only will your junior stage actor hone their acting chops, they will learn how to use theatre technology—like the catwalk and lighting and soundboards—inside of our campus’ professional theatre. Vocal coaching, drama games and exercises, as well as set design will help bolster your child’s natural talents. At the conclusion of camp, you will get to witness your budding performer weave through an amalgamation of the classic tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and the Little Red Ridinghood at a theatrical performance open to friends and family.
