Our High School Goalkeeper Preseason Boot Camp is an intensive, short-term training program designed to prepare goalkeepers physically, technically, and mentally for the demands of the upcoming high school season. This is a high-tempo, goalkeeper-specific environment focused on getting keepers sharp, fit, and game-ready before preseason begins. Every session integrates goalkeeper-specific fitness—not generic running—so conditioning is directly tied to the movements, reactions, and workloads goalkeepers face in matches. Training is demanding, competitive, and intentional, mirroring the pace and pressure of high school preseason play. Boot Camp Training Focus: · Shot stopping under fatigue · Explosive footwork, recovery movements, and diving technique · High-repetition handling and reaction work · Distribution and decision-making at game speed · 1v1s, breakaways, and quick transition moments · Crosses, aerial actions, and second-phase saves · Mental toughness, communication, and leadership Fitness Integration: Fitness is built into every exercise, emphasizing: · Explosive power and acceleration · Repeated sprint and recovery ability · Agility, balance, and core stability · Movement efficiency to reduce injury risk Goalkeepers will be pushed physically while maintaining technical quality and focus—developing the ability to perform late in games and under pressure.
