About This Activity
Description

Get active in the great outdoors! Join the natural resources team and Arizona Master Naturalists for a guided hike on one of our beautiful Tortolita Mountain trails. Experience the splendor of the Tortolita Mountain's geology, flora, and fauna. Participate in a different hike each month, of varying lengths and elevation gains utilizing our beautiful trails. Refer to the monthly description for hike specifics. Check the monthly hike description for the start time. Most hikes start at the Wild Burro Trailhead located within the Ritz Carlton Resort (North Secret Springs Drive) 14810 North Secret Springs Drive Marana, AZ 85658
For your safety and comfort:
- Wear suitable hiking boots.
- Bring a snack and/or lunch (depending on the length of the hike).
- Carry a minimum of 2 quarts of water per person.
- Apply and bring additional sunscreen.
- Wear a hat.
- Bring a walking stick if you desire.
- There are no restrooms or water stations on the trail.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Hikers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Hiking can be challenging; hikers should be aware of their physical abilities and that of their children.
