About This Activity
This session is open to all male students at Hillgrove. o Games are played in a 6v6 format (including a goalkeeper) with two 24-minute halves, a 2-minute halftime, and up to 12 players on each team's roster. A referee will be present for all games. o A T-shirt will be provided to all players. o Players must wear turf shoes or sneakers (NO cleats). o This is intended to be a fun, casual, and informal environment where Hillgrove players can meet each other, get touches on the ball, and maintain fitness. o GHSA policy prohibits Hillgrove coaches from coaching any Hillgrove student with a soccer ball present before the official season begins. o Teams will be organized based on age and playing experience. We offer two leagues: JV (U16) and Varsity (U18). o Team placement will be based on grade level & level of experience. o Special placement requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
