*Dates subject to change at the request of the school.* STEAM ENRICHMENT WEEKLY CLASSES We aim to SPARK the excitement of young people for ART, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY in a setting that allows them to explore, question, and experiment with fascinating facts, projects and activities. Through discovery based learning, students carry out experiments, engage in team activities, create artistic masterpieces, build and program robots, learn new technologies, and see how art & science works in the real world. Our programs are full STEAM ahead…Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math and designed to inspire future innovators! Students will be completing projects that cover all aspects of STEAM. Our Art program offers an enrichment and education experience that is second to none. With Art a la Carte Kidz you will find that the benefits to your kids and parents will make the difference between a good art experience and an EXTRAORDINARY one! Art a la Carte Kidz uses artist quality materials such as watercolor pencils, markers, chalks, oil pastels, charcoal and more! Our unique science programs are designed to meet the needs of children in grades K-5. Carefully researched science lessons help engage students in observation, measurement, identification of properties, and experimentation involving life, earth, and physical science concepts. The units are rigorously researched by science educators with the help of teachers and children. Our Robotic Programs use LEGO® bricks, KNEX, NXT, etc that emphasize a mixture of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and great tools that foster imaginative thinking. Our programs are designed for grades 2-5. Science is, by its nature, inquiry based. Inquiry is an approach to learning that utilizes discovery and scientific thinking processes to explore knowledge and learn skills.
