About This Activity
Focused on grades 2nd to 5th. Join us for the afternoon program during our Olympics Week. Miss Joy will work on Mindfulness with the kids and on breathing exercises for the ‘athletes’ to drive focus and calm. Activities will also focus on overall balance of sports, dance, arts and balance for the body. Miss Joy delivers all this value in a fun and engaging way. Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist in the Norwell school system with 25 years of experience. She has a deep understanding of sensory processing skills, self-regulation strategies and emotional intelligence. She loves to move dance and play to help kids develop skills for living. The class will have a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12. The program will wrap up at 4:15 pm with pick up by 4:30 pm.
