About This Activity
Focused on grades 2nd to 5th. Join us during our ‘Blast from the past’ week as Miss Joy offers a Throw Back afternoon! Kids will be engaged with dance and movement from the past (70’s, 80’s, 90’s). Miss Joy will engage them in fun activities giving them a perspective on how their parents and grandparents may have expressed themselves in ‘their day’. The activities will expand their minds and take them to an era they have only heard about! Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist in the Norwell school system with 25 years of experience. She has a deep understanding of sensory processing skills, self-regulation strategies and emotional intelligence. She loves to move dance and play to help kids develop skills for living. The class will have a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12. The program will wrap up at 4:15 pm with pick up by 4:30 pm.
