The JPH C.R.E.W. Program is an exciting leadership and workforce development experience designed for youth interested in working with children, camps, recreation programs, and afterschool environments in the future. C.R.E.W. gives participants the opportunity to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and become part of a positive and supportive camp community while enjoying a summer filled with enrichment, connection, and fun. This unique program combines camp counselor readiness, wellness education, workplace skills, inclusion training, and leadership development to help students grow into confident young leaders and positive role models. Flexible Weekly Program C.R.E.W. is offered week by week, allowing students and families to choose the weeks that work best for them. There is no four-week minimum commitment. Participants can join for one week or choose multiple weeks throughout the summer. Each week features a different C.R.E.W. theme and focus, giving the opportunity to explore different areas of leadership, workforce readiness, wellness, inclusion, and camp programming. Every week begins with an orientation designed to welcome new participants, introduce the week's theme, review expectations and safety, and help students feel prepared and connected to the C.R.E.W. community. Students who participate in multiple weeks will have the opportunity to build on their skills, take on additional responsibilities, and grow as leaders throughout the summer. Tuition includes C.R.E.W. leadership programming, weekly orientation, workforce development experiences, wellness and enrichment activities, and participation in select camp events and experiences.
