About This Activity
Campers will work in groups and engage in hands-on investigation of STEAM concepts while contributing to literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ kits, campers will have the opportunity to use everyday themes, relatable Minifigures with different personalities and familiar LEGO® building elements to solve problems through storytelling. They will design, build, and program robots to complete various challenges. Creations include simple rovers and mechanical contraptions. The program is specifically designed for young students, bundles designing, building, problem-solving, computer programming, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication into one exciting program.
