About This Activity
Set off on an inspiring adventure with our week-long summer camp, where the excitement of space exploration meets the ingenuity of Design Thinking. This camp is not just about learning; it’s about doing. Through a series of hands-on activities, students will dive deep into the heart of Design Thinking, learning to tackle challenges creatively, think critically, and collaborate effectively. Each day, our young innovators will engage in interactive projects, working in teams to explore the vast possibilities of life beyond Earth. With an eye on NASA's Artemis mission and the future Mars expeditions, students will work in teams to identify real-world space-related problems and develop creative solutions. From cardboard engineering and simple circuits, to coding with MakeyMakey and Microbit - students will learn how to use these tools to bring their ideas to life as innovative prototypes. The week concludes with our Galactic Showcase Day, a grand event where teams present their innovative prototypes and celebrate the week’s achievements. Our camp is a launchpad for young minds to become the space pioneers of tomorrow!
