Description
The Parks and Rec Sports Performance Camp for rising 6th-8th graders is a foundational strength & conditioning camp targeting all aspects of sports performance. Basic linear speed mechanics, sport specific agility drills, foot speed, plyometrics, reaction and quickness, prehabilitation, strength training and joint mobility will be the focus of the camp. The goal of this 6-session training camp is to teach and give each athlete an age-appropriate, holistic training program they can use to enhance performance regardless of season and experience. In addition to training, Jenna Waters (RD) will be on hand to educate and equip parents with proper nutrition plans to complement their athletes during the training process.
Campers should bring a water bottle, wear tennis shoes and comfortable athletic clothing, and a bag to keep personal belongings in each day.
