About This Activity
Minecraft is more than just a video game—it’s an immersive world where creativity, exploration, and problem-solving collide. Campers are dropped into a mysterious new world filled with hidden dangers, where they must quickly find food and build shelter before monsters emerge at night. In Survival Mode, campers gather resources, craft tools and weapons, and learn how to protect themselves as they explore. In Creative Mode, unlimited resources allow campers to design and build freely without monsters. Working as a team, campers take on roles such as game designer, artist, and architect to create their own custom adventure maps. Whether surviving the night or creating imaginative worlds, campers choose their own path in this excitement-filled Minecraft experience. A Minecraft account is not required for this camp, as licenses are provided for camp use. Campers may use their own account if they bring their login credentials. Camp uses Minecraft Java Edition, which differs from the Bedrock version played on consoles, iPads, or downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Purchasing a personal Java account is optional.
