About This Activity
Nature, exploration, imagination, and fun are just a few things you’ll find at this camp. Through creative collaborations with nature, we will develop an extended awareness of our environment such as the shapes,colors, patterns, and textures that surround us each day. Our investigations will allow us to make connections between the visual arts and the natural world. We will discover how artists are inspired by Mother Nature’s palettes and artistry, and the children will then create their own masterpieces with traditional art supplies and natural materials. Your child is invited to join us as we experience the many treasures cast in our path this summer! Sample Projects:Some examples of the projects will include Sticks and Stones Frames, Plant Press, Environmental Installations, Balanced Rock Sculptures, and Botanical Illustrations.
