Let’s get ready for summer by rejuvenating our bodies and minds with ancient Asian disciplines! Spend a few days relaxing, stretching, and strengthening your body and mind through Chinese Martial Arts &Yoga led by Kung Fu instructor, Master Rong. In this project, we will learn about our chakras and different meditation techniques. We'll also increase our body-mind connection by experiencing nature on a hike through the Potomac River. We’ll practice body movement while exploring Chinese Folk and Taiwanese’s Islander dance with a dance teacher. After dancing, we’ll quench our thirst by making our own Bubble Tea! For this project full of events, students will need to wear comfortable clothing/shoes, bring a hat, sun-glasses, beach towels and sun block as needed. Don’t forget snacks and a water bottle!
