Description
Nathaniel Aguilar is the founder and main drum facilitator for Circle of Friends Drums. If you’ve never had the joy of attending a drum circle, perhaps a good question is, what is a drum circle? Is it music? Yes. Is it improvisation? Yes again. Is it therapeutic? Absolutely!When you participate at a Circle of Friends Drums circle, you will learn as you listen, create while you enjoy other’s creativity, and your mind and body will be pushed yet rewarded with the benefits of drumming. With Nathaniel’s gentle instruction and guidance, you will play together with other people who, perhaps, you’ve never met. All instruments are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own percussion. Come as you and in the words of a beloved drummer from the Meridian Hill Park drum circle “give it all you got!”
