About This Activity
Ms McCombs and Wize brings STEAM classroom learning to life through hands-on engineering, robotics, and design—all grounded in grade-level STEAM standards. Every lesson starts with a STEAM concept tied to grade level standards, moves forward with a tactile build, 15 minutes of coding the build, and ends with presentations inspiring young learners to be the leaders of tomorrow. Intentional technology usage is a core value at Wize. This isn't your average robotics class. Wize educators follow rich lesson plans created with SOL standards where each project is built around an academic topic: students might program a butterfly robot to model pollination in science, or use color sensors to explore how light interacts with objects. With *minimal screen time* and maximum engagement, kids build critical thinking skills while deepening what they learn in school. Wize is a maker lab transforming children from technology users to creators of tomorrow. *Tuition is non-refundable
