About This Activity
BASIS Independent McLean Summer Camp is a thrilling adventure where campers create unforgettable memories and develop valuable skills. Every week, campers immerse themselves in hands-on activities, from science and nature exploration to creative and performing arts, as well as sports, and games. Our camp offers a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor adventures, packed with excitement. Special guests and on-campus events bring an extra layer of fun. This week’s theme, STEAM-tastic, invites campers to dive into Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through interactive experiments and design challenges that build critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills. Full-day campers in Grades 1–5 will also enjoy a field trip to the Children’s Science Center, where they will engage in hands-on experiments and creative challenges, sparking curiosity and excitement across STEAM disciplines.
