This chair yoga is a modified yoga practice that uses a chair for support, making it accessible to people of all fitness levels. Classes involve seated poses and supported standing postures to improve flexibility, strength, and balance, and will incorporate deep breathing and mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress and enhance mental clarity. A sturdy, armless chair is the primary prop and will be provided. No prior yoga experience is needed. This will a be 6-week series. Karen Jamila Knox is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher.
