The campers begin the day with a general warm - up of 15-20 minutes, then they head to their morning rotations until lunch time. They have an hour lunch break to eat and rest until 1:00pm. The campers then warm-up after lunch break for 15-20 minutes, and go to their afternoon rotations finishing up the events they didn’t get to in the morning. On day one of camp, we explain all of the gym rules to the campers prior to beginning camp. After warm-ups, the coaches are stationed at each event supervising the campers on their specific events. The campers will do every event, Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor, plus a dance session, and a conditioning (throughout week), and yoga session (3x during the week) at the end of the day. Dominique believes gymnasts truly can benefit from yoga to influence their gymnastics and increase their mobility and flexibility. The benefits to yoga are lifelong and introducing it to children through our camp is a great benefit to their training and for overall good health. A professional yoga instructor will teach the yoga class. Join us for your children's dance and skills performance on the last day of camp from 3:30-4:00pm. At all our camps, the camper to staff ratio is 7 or 8:1. We realize the importance of supervision and like to keep our ratios small. Will campers be able to get photos and personalized autographs of the Olympians? Yes, there will be a designated time for a Q&A with our Olympians, as well as a photo and autograph session. Will campers meet Olympians? Yes, there will be an Olympian at each camp session.
