About This Activity
Class room sessions are Monday through Friday from 9am-12pm Driving sessions are various times afternoons and after the class room sessions end. Students will sign up for drive times the first day of class. Holy Trinity has partnered with A Treasure Coast Driving School, Inc. to help make teen drivers safer and more confident! This course includes classroom sessions for mental theory of driving, and six hours of in-car instruction (two hours driving, four hours observing) in a fully-insured vehicle and a state-certified trainer. This course may also allow you to obtain an insurance discount certificate - please check with your insurance company for more information. One of the many objectives of this course is to foster maximum miles driven by your child before receiving his/her driver's license. Help your child be safe during their formative driving years and enroll your teen in HTEA’s driver training course today! Students under 18 must have the DETS completed and must have a Florida learner's permit prior to enrolling in the class. One Parent should plan to attend the first 10-20 minutes of the class on the first day only for important reminders and program information. Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your student. Bring a pencil and paper and a snack to each class. Participants must be under 18 years old Participants under must complete the 6 hours DETS course Participants must have learner's permit prior to the start of the program. Additional hours of private 1 on 1 instruction are available. Information will be available after the program begins.
