Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Orthopedic surgeons report that 50% of children break a bone before adulthood. Little Medical School introduces young learners to the role of an orthopedic surgeon, including how to check reflexes, treat sprains and strains, understand joints and tendons, create a humerus bone model, and learn how surgeons prepare for surgery. Students take home disposable lab coats, LMS gel packs, hand tendon activity, humerus bone model, Tommy John surgery kit, and more. No classes on October 6 and October 13.
