About This Activity
It is All in the Cards Class Description: Fun, fun, and more fun Each student will briefly review the history of baseball, basketball, and football. The kids will learn the major facts about the history of soccer on Tuesday and then learn about the most popular Olympic sports such as gymnastics, track and field, swimming, and basketball. Monday the students will receive instruction on the major events that happened in baseball and basketball history. Trading cards from some of the greatest players in baseball and basketball history will be given to the children. On Tuesday of this week, the participants will learn about the most popular sport in the world which is what we call soccer but all other countries refer to it as football. Also, part of our class time on Tuesday will be devoted to American Football and its history and uniqueness. Since the Summer Olympics will begin in a few days after this camp is over. On Wednesday we will study some of the most popular Olympic sports. Each day every student will receive a wax pack of cards that is studied that day. The kids will also be given cards of some of the greatest athletes from each sport. Please note; that you do not need to take Sports Cards Camp in order or all Sports Card Camps. Students may pick the Sports Card Camps they prefer to take.
