About This Activity
Step into a leadership adventure at the Memphis Zoo! Our CIT program gives teens (13-17) the chance to develop teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while assisting with zoo camps and engaging with animals. Participants gain hands-on experience working with campers, learning about animal care, conservation, and program planning, all while building confidence and making a difference in the lives of campers and wildlife. Campers should not attend Zoo Camp if they are exhibiting symptoms of any communicable illness.
