Interested in attending one of our zoo classes but don’t have a traditional class to go with? Come join one of our Homeschool Programs! From learning about classification of animals, our wild careers, or participating in a hands-on dissection- we will be offering all of our programs on set days. Simply check out our calendar, find a class that you would like to attend, and register! February 25th- Endangered Species: Saving the C6 (3rd-5th grade recommended) Throughout this program, we will learn all about some of the Memphis Zoo's Conservation Six, what struggles different species face, and what is being done to help them! Because of the critically endangered status of Sumatran tigers, Dusky Gopher frogs, Louisiana pine snakes, Graur's (Eastern Lowland) gorillas, and African elephants, the Memphis Zoo focuses heavily on these species as well as supporting biodiversity in Sri Lanka!
