About This Activity
"Create and invent different projects and challenges each week using a variety of “loose parts”. What are “loose parts”? Loose parts are any materials that allow for open-ended interpretation and play. They pave the way for exploration and innovative thinking! STEAM - science, technology, engineering, art, and math - at its purest! This camp is for students in 1st through 4th grades. Please send some loose parts with your child to make available for the inventions. Loose parts can be boxes (all sizes), plastic bottles and containers, old appliances, buttons, bottle caps, string, old toys, pinecones, acorns, sticks, ... This ETC class will be full of hands on, three-dimensional problem-solving FUN! We will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 in the PK classroom.
