The School District of Menomonee Falls Community Education and Recreation offers a 3-year old preschool program. The program will be offered at Shady Lane Elementary School for the istrict, and will follow the 4K School Year Calendar. There are two options to choose from Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday. Our 3 year old preschool program will allow the children to experience a play-based approach to help the develop their social and emotional skills. Children will have time to play with peers, complete projects, have a snack, and learn how they can play an important role within a group. The 3-year old Preschool Program is inclusive to students with differing abilities. If your child has special needs, please make sure to provide all pertinent information on the enrollment form. The staff will make every effort to provide a fun and safe experience for all. However, due to the nature of the program, staff cannot provide one-on-one support or individual care to a child. Students must be 3 years old by September 1, 2026 and be independent in the bathroom. Register by February 8, 2026. There is a minimum needed to avoid program cancellation.
Registration Fee: $150 and is non-refundableResident Fee: $1,450 (10 monthly payments of $145)Non Resident Fee: $1740 (10 monthly payments of $174)First monthly payment will be due on August 15th
Please register by Feb 8, 2026 as minimums need to be met to avoid program cancellation. Families will be contacted mid summer regarding payment schedule, drop off & pick up procedures, and August Meet & Greet. There will be no refunds given for cancellations unless this program is cancelled by the CE & Rec Department. If a parent/guardian requests a child to be cancelled out of the Preschool Program, parent/guardian are still responsible for all monthly payments throughout the year (unless another student is able to take your childs spot). Please note that these dates subject to change based on the approval of the 2026/2027 school year calendar.
