About This Activity
Explore the fundamentals of puppetry through storytelling and character creation, with creatures from stories new and old! Students will be introduced to the basics of puppetry, including movement, emotion, focus, and design from industry professional Gavin Cummings. Throughout this summer camp, students will be trained on puppetry fundamentals to bring these inanimate objects to life, through tales of monsters and myths! Students should be sent to YTN with a water bottle, snack, and a lunch that doesn’t need to be refrigerated or microwaved.
