About This Activity
Calling all Innovative School learners and Elementary-age participants, Kindergarten through 5th grade! Join us at TBS where we will learn about food insecurity in Miami-Dade County. In keeping with the Innovative School’s values, we will make meals for those experiencing food insecurity. Learners and their families will gather and bring food to create meals delivered to Green Haven Project. The Green Haven Project in Overtown empowers visitors to become environmental stewards through hands-on sustainability, inquiry, and community action. This will be an impactful morning. Up to 50 volunteers. Food insecurity project.
