About This Activity
Writing Workshop 8 provides an integrated and sequential approach to the teaching and reinforcement of grammar and composition skills, focusing on using connectives logically and forcefully. Students will be exposed to various writing styles in order to improve their critical thinking and analyses skills. Students will learn how to structure their writing based on the sentence skill mastered in Writing Workshop 6 and 7. Students will simultaneously reinforce standard English grammar skills. These fundamental skills and written communication are finalized in preparation for their high school courses. Required in 8th grade Full summer session; 1 MS credit
