Location: Christopher Columbus High School 3000 SW 87th Ave Miami, FL 33165 Days & Times: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s 7:00-8:30 PM We are excited to provide another summer full of training! Prior to every session I speak to each group and make sure everyone understands that these training sessions provided have nothing to do with the CCHS Soccer program. These training sessions are solely for the purpose of preparing the students on what myself and the coaching staff look for. High school soccer is a tremendous jump forward in all aspects, speed of game is quicker, strength plays a part, communication is key, and off the ball thinking comes into play a lot more. Please try and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to starting time (7:00 PM) in order to make sure we have everyone checked in along with evaluations set up for everyone. We will be working on topics such as: -Communication -When to pass/when to dribble -Decision making -Quick play -First touch -Movement off the ball -Shooting/finishing Every session will be different, challenging the boys in different aspects of the game. Lightning Alarm: If the alarm sounds we will not be able to step foot on the field until the weather has cleared. In this scenario, we will have gym workouts ready for the boys to participate in. Each player will receive a practice shirt in which they will wear during every training session. Each player will also be evaluated and receive an evaluation sheet at the end of the week(s) they are registered. Finally we will provide each player with an evaluation sheet after the week(s) they are training with us. Each individual sheet will be emailed to participants once completed. Please bring the following: -Water Bottle -Sneakers (Incase of rain) Please feel free to reach out to me prior to Tuesday, June 10 if there are any questions or concerns. Schedule should be the same throughout the summer unless there are changes in which I will notify prior to Tuesday.
