We will explore the trees of Catoctin Creek Park then construct a model tree from boxes and tubes. From nests in the branches to snug holes in the trunk, from tunnels under the bark to burrows in the roots, animals make use of trees for shelter and as a place to raise their young. Your child will learn about all the parts of the tree as well as the animals that make their homes in trees.
