The art of skateboarding develops muscles, balance, and coordination through continued movement and can be done as safely as riding a bike.Your child’s skateboarding experience will consist of: 1) learning skateboarding skills and tricks and building on those skills; 2) skate-a-long time with our experienced skaters who will provide mentoring and motivation; and, 3) supervised free skate time with other children. We maintain a ratio of one instructor to five participants. These classes will focus on beginner and intermediate levels of skills. All participants will need a skateboard and helmet. Elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards are required.
